The Health And Skincare Diploma is a 2 year beauty course, with an optional 3rd year:
Beauty Specialist (First Year) (Certificate)
The course will assist learners, who want to follow a career in the beauty industry, by teaching the correct techniques, skills, etiquette and communication skills.
Duration: 1 year full time, Monday – Friday 08:30-13:00 Entrance Requirements: Learners do not need a matric (Grade12) certificate. Minimum age requirement - 16 years of age. Cost: R44 000, R5000 deposit and balance payable over 10 months. Includes tuition fee, learning material and kit.
The first year provides learners an in-depth understanding of primary theoretical & practical aspects of skin & body care therapies. On completion learners will be able to perform full skin & body therapies utilising the latest electrical apparatus, apply make-up suitable for all occasions, perform manicures, pedicures & waxing techniques,so as to complete the full complement of treatments required from a Health and Skincare Therapist.

Duration: 1 Year full time, Monday – Friday 08:30-13:00

The second year is an extension and development of first year. This forms a natural progression where learners will be exposed to dealing with therapeutic requirements of clients that need more complex therapies. Sales, marketing and practical clinic experience is an important aspect which the learners gain during this year. This will create more job opportunities and enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

Once the learner has completed all the credits for the 1st and 2nd year, she/he will be awarded the Face to Face Health and Skincare International Diploma in Health and Skincare Therapy.
On completion, to ensure learners comply with International and National Standards, learners are encouraged to become members of the International Bodies and to apply to write the following optional examinations: CIDESCO Health and Skincare Diploma; ITEC Diploma in Health and Skincare; ITEC Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology; ITEC Diploma in Holistic massage; ITEC Diploma in Aromatherapy; ITEC Diploma in Reflexology; ITEC Diploma in Diet + Nutrition.
Optional Third Year: Spa Therapy (Third Year)
Duration: 1 Year full time, Monday – Thursday 13:15-16:00
Entrance Requirements: Beauty Therapy level one and two
Cost: R42 000, R5000 deposit and balance payable over 10 months. Includes tuition fee, learning material and kit.
This is a specialized year. Learners have the opportunity to complete subjects on an ITEC level which are seen as individual qualifications and not integrated into first or second year qualification. We align the program to stay on top of current progression in the Health and Skin Care Industry. It will prove to be of great value to learners wanting to enter specialized fields such as working at Medical Spas or assisting Plastic Surgeons (a growing trend).

National and International Awarding and Accreditation: Face to Face Beauty and Make-up Design School (Pty) Ltd, is recognized and accredited by all the national and international professional accreditation and membership organizations, including Service Seta (3725), ITEC, CIDESCO and City & Guilds.
Learners will have the opportunity to write international membership examination which will give them the opportunity to work abroad. The national accreditation is through the Services Seta and is the only internationally and nationally recognized Make-up School Design and Special effects academy in Africa.
