Isa Carstens® Academy

Established in 1978, we have a proud history of providing quality education and services to students from all over South Africa and further afield. Our reputation for excellence is built on our adherence to international quality standards and the value of trusted relationships. The Academy was also the first CIDESCO-accredited institution in South Africa based on the quality of our programmes. Today, alumni of the Isa Carstens® Academy can be found all over the world - as owners, managers and/or therapists in wellness centres and cosmetic houses and on luxury ocean liners.

They also work in the field of medical aesthetics (dermatology, plastic surgery, etc.) or as lecturers and researchers. As a responsible corporate citizen, we engage with all our stakeholders and take into account the social and natural environment in which we operate. The Isa Carstens Academy offers the following Diploma in Somatology (NQF6) Gap Year (comprising a series of modules which do not result in a qualification) The Academy’s campuses in Stellenbosch and Pretoria offer the following academic facilities: Lecture rooms: Equipped with modern information and communication technology. Clinics: Fully equipped and air-conditioned Skin Care and Body Care clinics for practical training. Technology: New-technology audio-visual equipment, network points for computers, etc Library and resource centres: These centres offer a wide range of textbooks, journals, articles and other resources on the wellness industry and related topics.
