The Consumer Care division (personal care, cosmetics and home care), known as Unicare Ingredients, was set up in 2001, with the exclusive distribution rights of Exxonmobil Chemical’s PureSyn range of products for the personal care and cosmetic industry in South Africa.  Since then, the division has grown and we have expanded our product range to offer a fully comprehensive ingredients portfolio for the Consumer Care industry.

Our exclusive partnerships with specialized category experts enable us to bring new technology and technical assistance into the market.  Our infrastructure in both Durban and Johannesburg facilitates product storage in bulk stainless steel tanks, and repackaging according to individual requirements.  Coupled with our state-of-the-art facilities and technical expertise, Unichem ensures flexible supply solutions to customers, offering technical solutions, full formulation guidance and material sourcing capabilities
