10 Tips For Using Your Miracle Renewal Relaxer Kit
1. Read instructions & warnings that come with your relaxer kit, & follow the directions carefully.
2. Wait at least six weeks between relaxer applications.
3. Don’t pre-shampoo, brush, massage or scratch scalp for at least 5 days before using relaxer.
4. If hair has been braided, remove braids & recondition at least 5 days before applying relaxer.
5. Don’t use hot combs or other heat-styling tools before, during or immediately after relaxing
process.
6. Don’t apply relaxer to hair that has been permed with ammonium thioglycolate or bleached.
7. Always do a strand test before applying relaxer.
8. Use the smooth side of your wide-toothed comb (not the tooth side) for application and
smoothing. (Virgin hair is an exception – see kit instructions.)
9. Don’t pull your hair during the relaxation process.
10. If you’re applying a temporary colour, only do so two weeks after relaxing your hair.
