The first Sorbet Drybar opened in early August 2012 in the Dunkeld West Shopping Centre in Johannesburg. Our sparkling-new salon is open seven days a week. You pay a flat rate of R165 per blow (except for the Lemon Twist and Tutti Fruitti.), no matter what type of beautiful hair you have. Length and texture – it's all the same to us. You can choose from a range of styles from the Sorbet Drybar blow-dry menu, each named after a yummy flavour of sorbet. All Blowouts include a wash. Our styling stylists - Sorbet stylists are true ambassadors of everything Sorbet stands for. Trained at L'Oréal professional, and using only hair products from the L'Oréal range, you know that the end result will be nothing short (or long and wavy) of stunning. These products include. Looking to be stylist ? COME TRAIN WITH US AND BECOME A TALENTED HAIR STYLIST WITHIN THE SORBET COMMUNITY EVEN IF YOU HAVE NO PREVIOUS HAIRDRESSING EXPERIENCE! We offer a full time ten-week hairstyling course that runs from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. The course covers all aspects of hairstyling for the Drybar, from Blow drying, treatment applications, consulting, and product knowledge for the products we stock, Keratin smoothing treatments as well as Extension training and up styles. The cost of the course is R4000.00, of which a deposit of R2000.00 needs to be paid after the interview to secure your position in the class. After successful completion (70% pass mark) we guarantee you a position in one of our stores.
