Mattifyingpowder Bamboosilk is a product from Soliance that is obtained by micronising organically-grown bamboo tabasheer, a white secretion from the joints of certain female bamboo plants.
Tabasheer consists of almost pure hydrated silica and has been used in Indian phytotherapy for its remineralising properties. Bamboosilk is Ecocert-approved, non-toxic and perfectly adapted for creating more natural textures in cosmetics. In powder formulations, it offers a high sebum-absorption capacity, has a mattifying aspect and a silky smooth feel.
Antibacterial agent Sopholiance S is a biosurfactant that belongs to the sophorose-lipid family, a combination of glycolipids produced by fermentation of Candida Bombicola.
Thanks to its anti-lipase activity, this product has a targetted bacterial activity on several Gram positive bacteria, particularly on specific noxious species of the cutaneous flora (Corynebacterium xerosis and Propionibacterium acnes).
